  My Mother's had 2 trips here within the month. The first vist was EXTREMELY LONG (not to do to the OH)- 9+ hrs. Everone from the ambulance to the nurse's did a nice job of taking care of her until they transferred her to Crouse Hospital. Now the 2nd time...the wait in the ER again was EXTREMELY LONG (8+ hrs. to be admitted to an ICU Room) wait. The ER staff was very kind until she was admitted (Especially the Respiratory team who intubated her- they were exceptional!) The ICU help again was very kind & caring during her overnight stay. I, unfortunately, was not thrilled with the ICU DR we had in the morning. She seemed to contridict herself a lot and I was told a test was to be ordered-up and then we would decide if maybe it was best to send her to Crouse Hospital ICU again...less than 5 mins later, without tests or warning, I was told she was being trasfered. Period. This is just my opinion, but I was not very happy the way this Dr handled our case- we had a plan that we had been following thru 3+ Dr's (&f know plans change all the time, esp in medicine) and "poof"...your leaving within the next hr now-tell the rest of your immediate family at 6:30am! Thank you for reading this long text. The take away from me: most of the support staff are very nice and caring! I guess I'll leave at that & let you come to your own conclusions.
